What type of DJ speakers and amps do I need?
What’s up? I am a beginner DJ looking to do this as a second job. I am currently using an American Audio DCD-PRO1000 professional dual CD player, an American Audio DX5R Preamp Mixer and I have them housed in a SKB DJ Shuttle Equipment station. I am using a Technics receiver with Cerwin Vega 12″ house speakers and two 10″ house speakers. For now I am looking to upgrade to a DJ amplifier and speakers. Of the 2 types of Dual 12″ speakers which would be better for a beginner? And is that Behringer good for those or do I need something else? Also could you share your knowledge with me as to what I would need to upgrade to as I progress to do clubs and parties and etc.? Thanks a bunch!
